Anaheim Meeting Starts In Exactly
Welcome to the web site of the Weather Modification Association's (WMA) 2009 Annual Meeting to be held on 22, 23 and 24 April 2009 in Anaheim California.
Centrally located within Southern California, Anaheim is known worldwide as a center for entertainment, tourism and convention activities. The meeting venue will be at the Marriott Suites Hotel, 12015 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, California. Although the physical address is Garden Grove, the hotel borders Anaheim and is less than 2 miles from Disneyland. Anaheim is located in Orange County, California, 26 miles (42 kilometers) south of Los Angeles County and is easily accessible from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), LA/ Ontario International Airport (ONT), Orange County/John Wayne Airport (SNA) and Long Beach Airport (LGB).
The meeting is organized by the Weather Modification Association. The goal of the conference is to provide a venue for the presentation of scientific research in the area of advertent and inadvertent weather modification and to encourage the exchange of ideas within the international weather modification community.
The conference call for papers is now open and will close March 15, 2009.
