Membership in the Weather Modification Association
is available to individuals, organizations, and students.
Persons who subscribe to the statement of purpose of the organization,
upon payment of dues shall be afforded the privileges of membership.
Members shall receive the Journal of Weather Modification and shall
have the right to vote in the business of the Association, and hold

Persons engaged in full-time programs of study leading to a degree
in the atmospheric sciences, engineering, or other related subjects,
upon payment of dues shall be afforded the privileges of student
membership. Student members shall receive the Journal of Weather
Modification, but shall not have the right to vote in the business
of the Association, nor to hold office therein. To download

Primarily reserved for any organization
without active programs in weather modification, which may have
an interest related to weather modification activities, but not
limited to them. As long as this organization subscribes to
the statement of purposes of the Association, upon payment of the
prescribed annual dues, it shall be afforded the privileges of a
WMA associate member. WMA associates shall receive the Journal
of the Association, and may designate one individual to act for
the organization in the business of the Association, all WMA sponsored
events (e.g., annual meeting, workshops), and the web page.
The designated individual shall have the same rights and privileges
afforded members of the Association. To download the

Organizations with active programs in or related to weather modification,
which subscribe to the statement of purpose of the Association,
upon payment of dues shall be afforded the privileges of corporate
membership. Corporate members shall receive the Journal of
Weather Modification and may designate one individual to act for
the organization in the affairs of the Association. This individual
will have the same privileges afforded members of the Association.

Members or former members of the Association who have made outstanding
contributions to the Association may, subject to the unanimous consent
of the Board of Directors, be nominated for honorary membership
in the Association. Election shall be by a simply majority
vote of the members present at any annual or special meeting.
Honorary membership is conferred for lifetime, and includes the
waiver of dues, the receipt of the Journal of Weather Modification
and the right to vote in the business of the Association, and hold
office therein.
Members of at least 65 years of age and at least 20 years active
membership in the Association, upon payment of one-half the annual
dues assessed of Members, shall be designated retired members.
Retired members shall receive the Journal of Weather Modification.
